You've gathered...
friends
food
materials
and now it's time to begin the work
of creating a Spring Vision Board,
of creating a Spring Vision Board,
Here are a few things to get you started...
-----------------------------------------------
1. Be clear
Before you pick up the scissors, (or even a pen)
stop to think about your end goal...
What would you like to see?
Where do you want to be?
What would you like to do?
As Stephen Covey, author of
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
puts it...
"Begin with the end in mind"
because
clarity of your end goal
clarity of your end goal
ultimately shapes the direction
of the path you will follow
2. Be intentional
Ask yourself some questions and document your answers
What are your...
personal goals?
career goas?
relationship goals?
Where are you headed...
physically?
spiritually?
emotionally?
3. Be realistic
Release the fear of failure
Release your concern about the expectations of others
Embrace your desire to dream BIG
Embrace your desire to dream BIG
while also
being real
being honest
being realistic
being realistic
with yourself about
where you are
what you are willing
what you are able
to do
in order to see your vision
come to fruition
where you are
what you are willing
what you are able
to do
in order to see your vision
come to fruition
4. Be open
Understand that we are all constantly
learning
growing
changing
and remain open to
new ideas
new thoughts
and/or the shifting of your focus or vision
new ideas
new thoughts
and/or the shifting of your focus or vision
keep a prayerful spirit and be willing to allow God's love to gently
lead
guide
guide
direct
as needed
You cannot figure it all out in one day
The great news?
You don't have to!
